About the role

Junior Reporting Analyst | 35hrs per week, Mon-Fri 9am-5pm | Reporting to Revenue Performance Manager

We’re looking for a Junior Reporting Analyst to help drive commercial success through insightful reporting, data analysis, and operational support. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your analytical expertise, gain exposure to revenue operations, and influence key business decisions.

What you’ll do:

Reporting & Analysis (c.50%)

  • Produce and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPI insights to support business performance and commercial decision-making.
  • Analyse data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, presenting findings clearly to stakeholders.
  • Support the development and enhancement of reporting tools and metrics.

Operational & Administrative Support (c.50%)

  • Manage post-sale policy administration and maintain accurate records across internal systems.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the Revenue team.
  • Assist with ad-hoc tasks, meetings, and team activities as required.

Market & Commercial Support

  • Conduct market and competitor research to support business initiatives and strategic decision-making.
  • Summarise findings and provide insights into market trends, opportunities, and commercial performance.

General Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with teams across Revenue, Sales, Finance, and Operations.
  • Continuously develop your knowledge, skills, and understanding of the business.
  • Support wider business activities and projects as required.

What we’re looking for:

Essential

  • Experience in a data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, or similar analytical role.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience using Power BI.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commercial mindset.
  • Experience working with large datasets and producing meaningful insights.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Desirable

  • Experience within insurance, financial services, or another regulated industry.
  • Knowledge of policy administration processes and insurance products.
  • Experience using CRM, policy administration, or underwriting systems.
  • Experience developing automated reporting solutions and process improvements.
  • Exposure to market research and competitor analysis.
  • Basic knowledge of DAX and Power BI data modelling.
