Manual and Automation Tester (US Citizenship/Hybrid Work)

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required and 2 days a week in the Rockville, MD office are required and non-negotiable.
• Ability to pass multiple background and employment checks - federal and local.
• Bachelor’s degree Technology, Business, or Related Field
• Ability to come into office for one interview

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in manual testing of web-based applications
• 4+ years of experience with Playwright, Selenium
• Experience in creating and executing test cases, reporting defects, and verifying fixes
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards in a federal or similar setting
• Experience testing large-scale databases and cloud-based systems
• Hands-on experience with Git workflows for source control and team collaboration
• Experience with jQuery and TypeScript is a plus
• Familiarity with AI-powered applications is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and automated testing to ensure functionality, performance, and security
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on user stories and requirements
• Report and track defects, and work with developers to ensure timely resolution
• Verify that new features and updates meet quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements
• Familiarity with testing AI-powered applications and validating machine learning model outputs, including ensuring data quality, bias detection, and integration of AI components into broader systems
• Proficient in AI-powered CLI development tools, such as Codex or Claude Code, for automated test creation and maintenance
