Position Overview
J2 Design is seeking a creative and motivated Marketing & Graphic Design Intern to support our marketing team. This position provides hands-on experience in graphic design, proposal development, branding, technical writing, and communications within the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry. We can provide any required documentation and are willing to be flexible regarding schedule and pay to meet the varying requirements that may be necessary for individuals to receive school credit for an internship.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the development of proposals, qualifications packages, and presentations
- Create graphics for reports, public outreach materials, and marketing collateral
- Support social media and website content updates
- Assist with conference and event preparation
- Help maintain brand standards and organize marketing files
- Participate in brainstorming and creative development sessions
- Perform other marketing and administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign and Illustrator
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and PowerPoint
