About the role
ROLE OVERVIEW: GPMS International, Inc. is seeking a entry to mid-level mechanical engineering contractor to support drawing development, release, and documentation management.
In this role, you'll work closely with our lead engineers to develop new drawings, 3D models, and perform revision updates to existing product. CAD modeling and release management experience using Onshape is required. This role will take the lead on tasks such as new part/assembly development, revision control, and drawing organization.

LOCATIONS: GPMS International, Inc. headquarters is located in Waterbury, VT. This position is remote.
MANAGEMENT: This position reports to the Chief Engineer

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Education – BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field and/or experience
- Experience – 1-3+ years of experience, ideally in aviation or manufacturing
- Proficient in mechanical drafting methodologies
- Experience producing part/assembly drawings with Onshape
- Experience with Microsoft tools such as Teams and Excel
- Experience supporting configuration management and document control
- Experience managing drawing release process
POSITION RESPONSIBILITES:
- Develop mechanical designs for new products
- Process and support updates/improvements to legacy designs
- Thoroughly review engineering change orders
- Manage, organize, and maintain Revision Log
- Manage mechanical documentation control and organization
- Ability to work with internal and external contacts on individual and team basis
- Ability to be both an independent and collaborative problem solver
- Maintain excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Work proactively with minimal supervision
- Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others.
- Manage time appropriately to complete tasks in a fast-paced environment
