Microsoft BC Developer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, proactive D365 Business Central Developer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a skilled professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering high-quality, scalable solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

You will develop and customise solutions that meet business needs, working closely with stakeholders, consultants, and developers to improve system functionality and performance.

Key Responsibilities

· Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC/NAV) customisations and extensions using AL and Visual Studio Code

· Work with functional consultants and stakeholders to understand requirements and convert them into technical specifications

· Build integrations with third-party systems and internal applications using APIs and web services

· Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across multiple environments

· Support system upgrades, data migrations, and new functionality deployments

· Apply Business Central best practices for source control, testing, and DevOps

· Mentor and guide junior developers when required

Required Skills & Experience

· At least 5 years’ experience in D365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV development

· Strong experience with AL and C/AL development, Visual Studio Code, and Git

· Solid knowledge of Business Central architecture, extensions (v2), and event-driven programming

· Experience with APIs, web services, and integration tools

· Good understanding of financial and operational processes, such as finance, warehousing, and inventory

· Experience with Power Platform, Power Automate, or Azure DevOps is desirable

· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

Pay: £50,000.00-£75,000.00 per year
