Microsoft Fabric Platform Administrator

Roles & Responsibilities :
As a Platform Administrator for Microsoft Fabric, you play a key role in enabling Bosch's data-driven transformation. You are responsible for the global operation, availability, reliability, and continuous evolution of the Microsoft Fabric platform, ensuring that users worldwide can leverage data and AI capabilities effectively, securely and at scale.

• GLOBAL TEAMWORK: You work as part of a highly collaborative international team and contribute to the administration, monitoring, maintenance, and continuous enhancement of the Microsoft Fabric platform. Together, you ensure reliable and scalable services for a global user community.

• OPERATIONS: You are at the heart of platform operations, continuously monitoring system health, capacity utilization, performance, and service reliability. You investigate incidents, perform root-cause analysis, troubleshoot complex technical challenges, and implement sustainable improvements to enhance platform stability. In addition, you design and operate modern monitoring and observability solutions that help prevent disruptions before they impact users.

• COLLABORATION: You work closely with stakeholders, security experts, business teams, and Microsoft to deliver a secure, high-performing, and customer-centric platform experience. Through strong partnerships, you help shape the future direction of the service and enable business success.

• AUTOMATION: You are passionate about automation and operational excellence. You identify opportunities to streamline processes and build automated monitoring, alerting, reporting, and remediation solutions that improve scalability, increase efficiency, and reduce operational overhead.

• CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: You use data-driven insights to continuously optimize platform performance. By analyzing usage patterns, workload behavior, and capacity consumption, you provide recommendations on performance tuning, capacity planning, and operational best practices that maximize value for our customers.

• NEW FEATURES: You stay at the forefront of innovation in Microsoft Fabric, Data Analytics, and AI. You evaluate emerging capabilities, assess their business value, and drive the adoption of new features that enhance the platform and improve the user experience.

• CUSTOMER SUPPORT & CONSULTING: You serve as a trusted advisor to customers and project teams, helping them make the most of Microsoft Fabric. Whether addressing technical challenges, troubleshooting complex issues, or optimizing workloads, you provide expert guidance that drives successful outcomes.

• QUALITY ASSURANCE: You help shape operational excellence by defining platform standards, governance practices, documentation, dashboards, KPIs, and quality measures. Through a strong focus on reliability and service quality, you ensure a professional and consistent platform experience.

• USER COMMUNITY: You actively contribute to the Microsoft Fabric community within Bosch by supporting webinars, Microsoft Fabric Days, workshops, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. By fostering collaboration and learning, you help accelerate adoption and platform maturity across the organization.
  

Educational qualification:

B.E/B.Tech

Experience :

3-8 Yrs

Mandatory/requires Skills :
Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Power BI Cloud, MS Azure Services and cloud-based data analytics platforms

Preferred Skills :
Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Power BI Cloud, MS Azure Services and cloud-based data analytics platforms

Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and cloud-based data analytics platforms. Experience in platform administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, performance optimization, capacity management, and operational automation. Good understanding of data platform architectures, Microsoft Azure services, monitoring and observability solutions, and IT security principles. Experience with scripting, automation, and infrastructure operations is an advantage.
