The Multimedia Designer Role
The Multimedia Designer will be responsible for providing multimedia production, digital communications, and visual design services to support the Centre’s educational programs, stakeholder engagement, and community communication needs.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Multimedia Production
- Produce high quality- multimedia content including videos, motion graphics, photography, and interactive digital materials that support the Centre’s educational programs, daily learning activities, and community events.
- Capture, edit, and deliver images and video footage that accurately represent the Centre’s inclusive environment, early learning programs, and community culture.
2. Visual Storytelling & Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with educators and Centre leadership to translate learning themes, cultural events, milestones, and curriculum content into clear, visually compelling stories.
- Develop promotional and narrative driven- media materials that reflect the Centre’s educational philosophy and enhance engagement with families and the community.
3. Branding & Visual Identity Management
- Create, refine, and maintain a cohesive visual identity for all Centre communications.
- Ensure consistent application of brand elements across social media, newsletters, printed materials, digital signage, and any other communication channels.
4. Digital Tools & Content Optimisation
- Research, recommend, and utilise appropriate digital tools, software, and media formats to produce high quality- and accessible content across multiple platforms.
- Optimise all deliverables for accessibility, user experience, and performance, ensuring compatibility with required distribution channels.
5. Project Delivery & Quality Assurance
- Deliver all content and assets within agreed timelines, meeting the Centre’s quality standards and project specifications.
- Apply effective workflow management to ensure efficient production, review, and approval processes.
6. Marketing & Community Engagement Support
- Produce visual assets and multimedia materials that contribute to the Centre’s marketing initiatives, enhance community visibility, and promote key programs and events.
- Support engagement strategies by creating content that strengthens relationships with families, prospective enrolments, and local community stakeholders.
Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in multimedia production, including videography, photography, motion graphics, and digital content creation.
- Strong visual storytelling skills with the ability to translate concepts, learning experiences, and events into engaging multimedia outputs.
- Proficiency with industry standard- creative software (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud or equivalent digital media tools).
- Experience developing and maintaining brand identity across digital and printed communication channels.
- Ability to optimise content for various platforms, ensuring accessibility, usability, and high production quality.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines, manage workflows, and deliver consistent, high quality outputs.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, particularly when working with educators, leadership, and community stakeholders.
- Understanding of digital communication principles, social media content formats, and audience engagement strategies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
