Duties

• Research grant opportunities by analyzing funding sources from government agencies, foundations, and other nonprofit organizations
• Develop persuasive grant proposals and compelling case statements aligned with funder priorities and organizational goals
• Manage the entire grant submission process, including preparing budgets, supporting documents, and compliance reports
• Maintain accurate records of grant applications, deadlines, and correspondence using databases such as Raiser's Edge or similar CRM systems
• Collaborate with program staff to gather content, data, and financial information necessary for proposal writing and reporting
• Edit and proofread proposals, reports, and related content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and professionalism
• Monitor grant progress through effective contract management and ensure timely submission of renewal applications or reports

Requirements

• Proven experience in grant writing within the nonprofit sector, with a strong track record of securing funding from government agencies and foundations
• Expertise in contract management, grant management, and compliance requirements
• Proficiency with databases such as Raiser's Edge or equivalent CRM tools for tracking grants and donor information
• Exceptional research skills to identify new funding opportunities aligned with organizational programs
• Strong technical writing experience with the ability to craft clear, persuasive proposals and reports
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
• Experience in nonprofit community organizations or foundation work is highly desirable
• Knowledge of budgeting processes, financial report writing, and program development strategies
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams while demonstrating strategic planning capabilities
