OT Cyber Security SME | Digital Engineering | ICS/SCADA - Nuclear

Cyber Security Subject Matter Expert (SME) needed to support Operational Technology (OT) cybersecurity, digital engineering, and critical infrastructure modernization projects. This role provides hands-on technical support for cybersecurity assessments, digital systems upgrades, and industrial control system environments.

Nuclear Experience IS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform cybersecurity assessments for Critical Digital Assets (CDAs) and industrial control systems
• Develop and review cybersecurity documentation, procedures, and technical reports
• Support OT cybersecurity projects, digital upgrades, and system modernization initiatives
• Perform vulnerability assessments, security reviews, and system hardening activities
• Support Windows and Linux servers/workstations, patching, backups, and configuration management
• Conduct system walkdowns, document equipment, and verify cybersecurity controls
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting and technical support for digital control systems
• Support virtualization projects and migration of legacy systems to modern platforms
• Review cybersecurity requirements and provide engineering input for digital projects
• Support testing, validation, and implementation activities for digital equipment
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, engineering, and operations teams to maintain secure and reliable systems

Required Qualifications

• Experience with Operational Technology (OT) Cybersecurity, ICS, SCADA, or industrial control systems in a nuclear enviorment
• Experience performing cybersecurity assessments and technical documentation
• Knowledge of Windows/Linux security, vulnerability management, and system hardening
• Experience with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, OPC DA, and OPC UA
• Ability to perform hands-on technical support in industrial or critical infrastructure environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting nuclear, utility, power generation, or other regulated industries
• Experience with Critical Digital Assets (CDA) or cybersecurity compliance programs
• Experience modernizing legacy control systems and migrating to newer infrastructure
• Experience with virtualization in OT environments
• Familiarity with digital control systems, plant computer platforms, or industrial networks

Pay: $101.00 - $145,578.47 per hour

Experience:

• OT Cyber Security/ICS : 5 years (Preferred)
• Cybersecurity Assessments & Compliance: 4 years (Preferred)
• Industrial Control Systems & Protocols: 3 years (Preferred)
