Software Engineer (Java / React / AWS)

Summary

We are seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and cloud-based services. This role partners with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions while following modern development practices. The ideal candidate is a collaborative problem solver with strong Java, React, and AWS experience and a passion for building reliable, maintainable applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java, React, and AWS applications
• Build clean, scalable, and maintainable code
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver technical solutions
• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance optimization
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives
• Document technical designs and support best practices throughout the development lifecycle

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3–5 years of professional software development experience
• Strong experience with:
  • Java and Spring Boot
  • React or React Native
  • AWS cloud services
  • Git
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Knowledge of automated testing and software development best practices
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS-native development
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude Code, etc.)
• Experience in a regulated or enterprise software environment
