Role Overview

  • As a Product Engineer you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems across new and existing equipment. Duties will include:
  • Design, develop and revise mechanical and electrical systems for manufacture and assembly
  • New and existing product development from concept to completion
  • Work with OEMs and workshops to provide solutions, improvements and technical support
  • Risk assessments and compliance to industry standards and regulations
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation: SOPs, drawings, work instructions, BOM and testing procedures
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders throughout product lifecycle

What we are looking for

  • Experience in designing and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical components
  • Working knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Proficient in SolidWorks and 2D CAD for manufacturing purposes
  • Ability to interpret engineering, technical and OEM documentation
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronic, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Experience within the heavy automotive, heavy equipment, mobile plant industries is highly regarded
