The Property Services Team is responsible for achieving strategic property objectives and to drive process and outcomes across a range of supportive property management functions.

About the role:

The successful candidate will form a key part of the Property Services team providing administrative support and prompt, courteous service to internal and external stakeholders seeking support from the Property team. The successful candidate will also be the primary contact for all Council tenants for operational matters.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:

  • Liaising with tenants to ensure lease compliance and maintain a lease register
  • Undertake investigative tasks and provide information on property matters as directed
  • Responding to public enquiries relating to property as well as initiate and monitor action in response to enquiries
  • Liaise with other government and service authorities, property developers, solicitors and tenants
  • Liaise with other internal stakeholders at Council to achieve strategic property objectives
  • Update income, outgoings and risk insurance register for lease and ensure outgoings for commercial properties are calculated in accordance with lease agreements
  • Prepare requests for quotations from valuers and other consultants where required. Review responses and make recommendations to Property Management Officer
