The Role

• Design and develop production-grade Python applications and backend services.
• Build scalable distributed systems, APIs and event-driven architectures.
• Work closely with traders, quants and business stakeholders to deliver software that directly supports investment and trading activities.
• Contribute to architecture, system design and greenfield platform development.
• Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code while collaborating with highly experienced engineers.

What We're Looking For

• Strong commercial Python development experience.
• Experience building backend applications, APIs or distributed systems.
• Solid software engineering fundamentals with a focus on clean, maintainable code.
• Strong problem-solving ability and an interest in tackling complex technical challenges.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.

Experience with technologies such as FastAPI, Flask, Django, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes or cloud platforms is beneficial, but we're primarily interested in strong software engineers rather than experience with a specific technology stack.
