The Senior Mobile Automation Engineer / SDET has a 12-month contract position with a client in Charlotte, NC (3 days onsite & 2 days remote).

Pay Range: $60-$65/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Job Description:

Position Summary

We are looking for experienced mobile Automation Engineer with strong leadership, insights on Mobile Architecture, software development skills, and experience in developing and enhancing mobile test automation frameworks. They will be leading and designing/developing automated, solutions including unit testing, functional testing, UI testing and performance testing that help guarantee the software quality across a wide range of mobile devices and tablets. Work closely with Product and Engineering teams. Ability to work with limited to no guidance in a team environment.

Role Responsibilities:

• Innovative approach to uncover issues during the development phase

• Implement new testing frameworks for future products and features

• Participate in code review of standards, procedures, tools, and quality improvement processes

• Maintain automated regression suites/packages to be compliant with changing requirements and features

Primary Skill- Perfecto - Mobile Automation, Performance and Monitoring

Secondary Skill- Selenium

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar technical field

• Develop and document test UI automation and application framework enhancements in Java + Appium.

• Java and Shell Scripting is MUST

• Mobile Test Automation with Appium is a MUST

• Selenium Test NG

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Testing Manual QA

• Must have experience in one of the mobile automation tools and frameworks (Appium, Espresso, XCUITest)

• Hands on experience in designing and building automation frameworks from scratch or using open-source tools

• Experience working with various source code and CI/CD management tools e.g. Jenkins, Perforce, Git, Bitbucket

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with continuous integration Unit tests.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution.
