The Work You’ll Love Doing

This role sits at the intersection of technology and artistry.

You'll transform engineering data into stunning visual experiences by creating photorealistic product imagery inside Unreal Engine. Working from SolidWorks CAD models, you'll build immersive outdoor environments, develop realistic lighting, refine materials and textures, and create digital scenes that are virtually indistinguishable from professional photography.

Your work won't simply showcase products. It will tell stories, inspire customers, and help retailers and consumers imagine life outdoors with POLYWOOD®.

Where You Will Make an Impact

• Create photorealistic product imagery using Unreal Engine
• Build highly realistic outdoor environments that showcase POLYWOOD® products in authentic settings
• Import, optimize, and prepare SolidWorks CAD models for visualization
• Develop realistic lighting, materials, textures, vegetation, and environmental effects
• Produce lifestyle imagery for POLYWOOD.com, retail partners, product launches, and marketing campaigns
• Create scalable visualization assets that support multiple product styles, colors, and configurations
• Collaborate with Product Development, Engineering, Marketing, Creative, and Digital teams to bring products to life
• Continuously improve rendering quality, workflows, efficiency, and visual realism
• Stay current on emerging visualization technology and Unreal Engine capabilities

What You Bring

• You see the details other people miss.
• You understand how light behaves throughout the day. You know why certain materials reflect differently, why shadows create depth, and how subtle environmental details transform a render into something people believe is real.
• You have mastered Unreal Engine and understand how to leverage its rendering capabilities to create production-quality imagery. You know how to work with CAD geometry, physically based materials, realistic lighting, and environmental assets to create scenes that feel natural and immersive.
• Experience working with SolidWorks models, CGI workflows, and photorealistic rendering is essential. Experience with tools such as Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, Substance Painter, Twinmotion, Quixel Megascans, or similar visualization software is highly valued.
• Most importantly, your portfolio demonstrates exceptional realism. We want to see outdoor environments, lighting, and product imagery that could easily be mistaken for professional photography.
• If you have both the technical expertise and the artistic eye to create world-class visualization, you'll have the opportunity to make an immediate impact.
