Regular Devops Engineer/ 1 SO

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated DevOps Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all assigned IT systems in accordance with defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). This role is crucial for maintaining the operational functionality of our systems and supporting our online shop operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service Lifecycle Management: Plan the service lifecycle from initial setup to decommissioning, and implement preventive measures to maintain operational functionality.
• Monitoring Solutions: Create and execute monitoring solutions to ensure the continuous performance of shop systems.
• Service Request Management: Handle bug reports and service tickets efficiently.
• System Maintenance and Development: Maintain and further develop existing systems, addressing vulnerabilities as they arise.
• Incident Management: Analyze, troubleshoot, and document operational incidents to ensure quick resolution and prevent recurrence.
• Project Support: Support various projects throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
• On-Call Duty: Participate in on-call duties on a rotational basis (minimum one week per month, Monday to Sunday) to provide 24/7 monitoring and support for shop systems.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the team responsible for shop operations, ensuring seamless integration and operation of 200 software artifacts (microservices, databases, etc.).

  • Kubernetes
  • Nginx OSS/Enterprise
  • Ansible / Python (for scripting and internal applications)
  • Linux (3/5 level proficiency)
  • JVM/SpringBoot (90% of applications, essential for incident management)

• Focus on DevOps with an emphasis on Operations
• Shop systems are monitored 24/7

Hybrid work model: 2 days from the office, 3 days of home office.

Office locations: Warszawa, Lublin, Poznań, Katowice, Łódz, Rzeszów.

Fluent communication skills in English and Polish (minimum B2 level), both written and spoken.
