About the role
We are a General Contractor in the Reno, NV area that specializes in Custom Home Builds, Additions and full Remodels. We are family owned and operated. We have traditional values and strong work ethic. We are currently looking for a Project Manager that also has these qualities. The candidate must possess high morals, be a team player and enjoy working in a fast moving position.
The duties for this position include documentation, meeting management, handling the project budget, and using time management skills to help the team stay on track. This position maintains the project schedule, manages project contracts and works directly with the superintendent to deliver a quality project.
You will be required to communicate with clients and deliver project progress reports. You will develop and adhere to the budget, timeline, and quality control plan. Collaborates with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other specialists. You will take projects from the initial blueprints to final handover, ensuring it is completed on schedule, within budget, and up to safety and quality standards.
Estimating & Budgeting: Prepare and review cost estimates, material take-offs, and establish the overall project budget.
Scheduling: Create detailed project timelines that account for task dependencies, material lead times, and builder milestones.
Cost Tracking: Monitor daily expenses, approve invoices, and manage changes to cost codes to maintain profitability.
Change Orders: Process, negotiate, and document changes to the project scope that arise during the build.
Resource Logistics: Schedule and coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment to ensure workers have what they need to stay on track.
Stakeholder Relations: Act as the primary liaison between the client (homeowner or developer), architects, engineers, and city inspectors.
Construction Project Management degree preferred, but not required.
Pay dependent upon experience.
