Senior Drilling Engineer Consultant

We are seeking a highly qualified Drilling Engineering Consultant for a contract engagement focused on accelerating the adoption of digital technology within the drilling sector. The core focus will be leveraging computer vision for operational safety and deploying smart controllers for advanced pressure management systems.

Scope of Work & Key Deliverables

• Expert Consultation: Provide advisory services to clients on optimizing drilling operations through digital transformation.
• Opportunity Identification: Engage with client stakeholders to analyze operations, identify challenges, and pinpoint high-impact opportunities for technology integration.
• Solution Strategy: Develop and present strategic recommendations for adopting computer vision (AI-driven visual monitoring) and smart control systems (intelligent pressure management).
• Client Engagement: Lead technical workshops, presentations, and strategic discussions to drive client commitment to new digital initiatives.
• Business Development Support: Collaborate with internal teams, providing drilling engineering expertise to secure new service contracts and partnerships.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in drilling engineering.
• Strong, demonstrable understanding of industrial IoT, data analytics, and control systems.
• Proven client-facing consulting experience with exceptional communication and influencing skills.
• Deep expertise across the end-to-end drilling process, from well design and planning through execution.
• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.

Engagement Terms

• Contract-based with defined scope and deliverables; duration negotiated based on project needs.
• Requires the ability to work autonomously and deliver expert results.

Pay: $100.00 - $150.00 per hour
