Duties

• Lead the full software development lifecycle for web applications, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
• Design and implement robust APIs and RESTful services to facilitate seamless integration across systems.
• Develop scalable front-end interfaces using JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular, ensuring optimal user experience.
• Architect and optimize backend systems utilizing Ruby on Rails, Java, C#, Python, or C++, adhering to best practices in software engineering and design patterns.
• Collaborate within Agile teams to plan sprints, review code via version control tools like GitHub or SVN, and ensure continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines are efficient.
• Implement security measures including RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) and other security protocols to safeguard data and system integrity.
• Work with cloud infrastructure providers such as AWS or Azure to deploy, monitor, and scale applications effectively.
• Apply system design principles for developing microservices architectures that support high availability and scalability.
• Conduct system analysis and design for developing new features or improving existing functionalities in web development projects.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system architecture, APIs, and development processes for team collaboration.

Experience

• Proven software development experience with a strong background in full stack engineering across diverse programming languages including JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, C++, or Ruby on Rails.
• Extensive experience designing scalable systems using microservices architecture within cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
• Deep understanding of IT infrastructure components including Linux servers, cloud infrastructure management, and network security protocols.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful API development, web development frameworks (React Express), and front-end technologies like JavaScript frameworks.
• Familiarity with database management systems such as MySQL or SQL Server; knowledge of database design principles is essential.
• Strong grasp of software engineering best practices including version control (GitHub, SVN), CI/CD pipelines, design patterns, and software testing methodologies.
• Experience working within Agile software development environments with a focus on iterative delivery and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of application security standards including RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) to ensure secure application access controls.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including product managers, UX designers, DevOps engineers, and QA specialists.
