SENIOR MOTION DESIGNER

Location: Hoboken, New Jersey

Compensation Range: $50 - 57 per hour

The Sr. Motion Designer will integrate into the high-energy Video Team to conceptualize, animate, edit, and execute top-tier video assets for B2B strategies, executive events, digital marketing, and brand partnership programs. Working alongside cross-functional creative partners (Art Directors, Designers, Copywriters), this role will drive visual storytelling while integrating advanced AI video technologies to streamline production processes and maximize creative output.

Responsibilities:

• Partner closely with Art Directors, Designers, and Copywriters to create and execute on-brand video assets that fulfill business goals detailed in creative briefs.
• Concept and produce high-impact video content tailored for executive and leadership events.
• Handle storyboarding, visual design, animation, and video editing aligned with audience strategy, maintaining strict brand consistency across internal and advertiser initiatives.
• Craft dynamic motion graphics across diverse touchpoints, including digital campaigns, marketing demos, presentations, internal communications, and eLearning modules.
• Deliver refined, premium media assets fully optimized across multiple platforms, devices, and viewing environments.
• Actively incorporate AI video platforms (e.g., Gemini, Runway, Pika, Adobe Firefly, Kling, Adobe Express, Adobe Substance) to boost production speed and integrate modern techniques into creative output.
• Keep pace with emerging motion graphics and AI trends, translating cutting-edge ideas into fresh, modern video content.
• Tie motion design strategy directly to key business and advertising KPIs to blend high creative standards with measurable performance.
• Foster collaborative, strong working relationships with internal partners and external brand clients.
• Maintain clean, standardized project file organization and naming conventions to ensure seamless team collaboration and streamlined workflows.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of professional experience in motion design or video content creation (experience in advertising or retail environments preferred).
• Advanced proficiency in the Adobe Creative Cloud suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator), with deep hands-on skill in video editing, animation, 3D design, visual storytelling, and compositing.
• Demonstrated familiarity and hands-on experience using AI video tools (e.g., Runway, Kling, Pika, Adobe Firefly, Adobe Express, Adobe Substance) to accelerate and refine video production workflows.
