About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and AI-driven application development. In this role, you will help design, build, enhance, and modernize enterprise-grade applications using the latest Microsoft technologies.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience with .NET 8/.NET Core, C#, Azure cloud services, and modern application architectures. Experience developing AI-enabled solutions using Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, AI Agents, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) is essential.
This position offers the opportunity to work on application modernization initiatives, cloud-native development, API design, and AI integration while collaborating with technical teams and business stakeholders.
Required QualificationsCore Technical Skills
- Extensive hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET Core/.NET 8, and enterprise application development.
- Strong background in developing and deploying applications within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
- Practical experience with:
- Azure App Services
- Azure Functions
- Azure API Management
- Azure Service Bus
- Azure SQL
- Azure OpenAI
- Azure AI Foundry
- Hands-on experience implementing AI Agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and GitHub Copilot for Developers.
- Experience building microservices, REST APIs, and implementing secure authentication and authorization practices.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID/B2C.
- Proven experience migrating legacy .NET Framework/Web Forms applications to modern .NET 8 cloud-native architectures.
- Experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps, CI/CD automation, and container technologies.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, Cosmos DB, and at least one modern front-end framework such as Blazor, React, or Angular.

- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to perform application assessments, feasibility studies, and technical gap analyses.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to recommend scalable and practical technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical teams, project stakeholders, and business leadership.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Senior .NET Developer working on enterprise applications.
- Strong background in Microsoft Azure cloud development and application modernization.
- Demonstrated experience delivering AI-enabled solutions using Microsoft Azure AI services.
Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
