About the role
Responsible for operating, optimizing, and improving the Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) systems on the production line; leading AI and digital transformation initiatives to enhance inspection quality, reduce slip-thru errors, and support Smart Factory implementation for assembly process.
Key Responsibilities:
1 AOI Operation & System Management:
- Manage/control/update/create process parameters, machine settings, work instruction, FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), control plan, reaction plan, production documents.
- Optimize reject rate of inspection system to reduce production cost- Improve inspection system (AOI) and optimize the acceptance standard.
- ITM (Information Technology in Manufacturing) role, Coordinate with IT department for MAE (Machine and Equipment) security topics.
2 AI Development & Implementation:
- Develop I4.0 for assembly process.
- Develop AI AOI.
3 Digitalization & Automation:
- Develop automation technology to improve productivity.
- Develop traceability systems.
4 Continuous Improvement & problem solving:
- Continue Improving productivity & OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
- Secure product quality (0-Km complaint) by preventing potential risks and applying Problem Solving (NC - Non-Conformity, PSS - Problem Solving Sheet, 8D - Eight disciplines problem solving, Shainin...) for AOI process.
- Develop and implement process improvement strategies.
5 Other tasks assigned by manager.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, IT data Science or related
- 2-5 years in an industrial manufacturing plant
