Wespath is an Equal Opportunity Employer that is committed to a diverse and inclusive company culture and does not discriminate against applicants and employees because of disability, sex, race, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, national origin, age, veteran status, or any other protected status under the law.

Wespath’s Information Technology team has an opportunity for a Senior Product Operations Manager. This role is a senior individual contributor who serves as a strategic partner to Product, Business, and Technology leaders. This role helps shape product direction by facilitating critical thinking, aligning stakeholders around desired business outcomes, and establishing the planning, measurement, and operational practices that enable successful execution. Rather than owning product strategy or defining solutions, this individual helps leaders clarify objectives, evaluate opportunities, identify dependencies, establish measures of success, and make informed investment and prioritization decisions.

The role partners closely with Product Managers, Business Leaders, Business Architects, and Technology Leaders to connect organizational strategy with product execution. Success is achieved through influence, collaboration, facilitation, and the ability to turn complex challenges into actionable plans that deliver measurable outcomes.

More specifically, as a Senior Product Operations Manager, you will have the following key responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Business Outcome Alignment

  • Partner with business leaders to define strategic objectives, outcomes, and success measures while evaluating opportunities, risks, and investment tradeoffs.
  • Encourage outcome-oriented thinking by helping teams focus on problems to solve, customer needs, and business value rather than predefined solutions.
  • Collaborate with business architecture, product management, and technology leaders to identify capability gaps, organizational dependencies, and long-term strategic opportunities.
  • Support the development of product visions, roadmaps, and investment priorities that align with enterprise objectives.

Portfolio Planning & Prioritization

  • Facilitate portfolio planning activities that improve transparency, alignment, and decision-making across business and technology stakeholders.
  • Help leaders evaluate competing priorities using business value, customer impact, organizational readiness, risk, and capacity considerations.
  • Promote data-informed prioritization and investment decisions through analysis, facilitation, and structured decision frameworks.
  • Support scenario planning and long-range planning efforts that connect strategic goals to execution plans.

Product Insights, Metrics & Decision Support

  • Partner with product and business leaders to define measurable outcomes and success criteria for strategic initiatives.
  • Establish meaningful portfolio-level views of progress, outcomes, risks, and opportunities.
  • Surface dependencies, risks, and execution considerations that may impact delivery of planned outcomes.
  • Translate data into actionable recommendations that support continuous learning and improvement.

Product Operations & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve how product teams plan, collaborate, communicate, and deliver value.
  • Partner with Product Managers and Product Owners to increase organizational effectiveness through improved practices, tools, and workflows.
  • Facilitate adoption of repeatable planning, prioritization, and measurement practices that improve transparency and predictability.
  • Promote a culture of experimentation, learning, and continuous improvement across the product organization.

AI, Automation & Innovation Enablement

  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve product management processes, decision-making, knowledge sharing, and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with leaders and teams to evaluate emerging technologies and determine where they can deliver meaningful business value.
  • Support experimentation by helping teams define hypotheses, measures of success, and learning objectives.

Stakeholder Partnership & Influence

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Product, Business, and Technology leaders.
  • Build strong collaborative relationships that foster alignment across functions and organizational boundaries.
  • Influence decisions through facilitation, analysis, communication, and trusted partnerships.

Senior Product Operations Manager Benefits and Compensation:

  • Choose the medical, dental, vision, and well-being benefits that best fit your needs from day one.
  • 8% employer contribution to retirement plan with an additional match up to 2% on day one.
  • 22 days of PTO + 12 paid holidays.
  • Hybrid working arrangement.
  • The compensation range for this position is $154,000 – $192,500 with a bonus opportunity and customary benefits. Final compensation will be set based on the hired applicant’s qualifications (education, training, and/or experience related to this role), and as such, may fall outside the range shown.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Operations, Business Architecture, Strategy, Agile Leadership, or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive organizational outcomes without direct authority.
  • Experience facilitating strategic planning, prioritization, and cross-functional decision-making.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to translate complex information into actionable insights.
  • Experience defining success metrics, measuring outcomes, and supporting executive decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within SAFe or other scaled product operating environments.
  • Understanding of business architecture, capability modeling, and strategic planning practices.
  • Experience with AI-enabled tools and process automation.
  • Experience within financial services, investments, retirement, benefits administration, or similarly complex environments.
