FinXL is currently expanding our consulting practice, and we are looking for a highly capable Senior Project Manager (Release Train) to join our team. In this exciting role, you will be employed by FinXL and deployed into one of Australia's premier Telecommunications providers to steer a high-profile transformation engagement.

Your Responsibilities

As the driving force behind our release operations, you will:

• Architect the Framework: Define robust release governance frameworks and critical gating criteria.

• Drive the Process: Implement flawless end-to-end release processes across complex environments.

• Own the Outcome: Chair Go/No-Go forums and meticulously document rollback procedures.

• Strategise & Execute: Lead PPT rehearsals and define sophisticated environment sequencing strategies.

• Innovate & Optimise: Identify and aggressively drive process improvements across the entire release cycle.

• Empower Delivery: Establish high standards and enablement frameworks for delivery squads.

• Collaborate for Success: Partner closely with Lead Engineers, TCOE, and vendor delivery leads to ensure seamless execution.

Key Skills & Experience

• Deep, practical understanding of Agile delivery models and complex release train operations.

• Experience driving transformation within a Salesforce technology stack is highly regarded.

• Strong, proven background in technical change management and navigating SDLC adjustments.

• Demonstrated ability to seamlessly coordinate DevOps and Platform engineering teams.

• Strategic capability to implement advanced environment sequencing and bulletproof rollback strategies.

• A highly independent, proactive practitioner who thrives and delivers results in ambiguous environments.

• The rare ability to balance high-level strategic process definition with hands-on, tactical delivery.
