Hiring: Senior QA Automation Engineer – Capital Markets
Location: New York, NY or New Jersey – Hybrid

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in Capital Markets / Financial Services and hands-on expertise in Selenium, Java or Python, SQL, and test automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will have experience testing market data, index/benchmark calculations, pricing, reference data, portfolio or investment applications, along with a strong understanding of automated, integration, API, and end-to-end testing.

Job Duties:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions using Selenium, Cucumber, Java/Python, and related technologies.
• Develop test plans and test cases based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, API, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Validate financial and market data using SQL, databases, ETL pipelines, and Data Services.
• Test high-volume, low-latency, real-time financial data platforms.
• Work with market data, pricing, reference data, index calculations, and benchmark-related applications.
• Collaborate with Development, Database, Integration, and Support teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Support QA strategy, test automation, code reviews, release testing, deployment, and sign-off activities.
• Leverage GenAI and AI-powered tools to improve test design, automation, defect analysis, and root-cause investigation.
• Continuously improve QA processes, automation frameworks, and testing methodologies.

Requirement:

• 8+ years of experience in software testing and QA.
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Cucumber.
• Strong programming skills in Java or Python.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with database validation.
• Experience in Capital Markets, Financial Services, or FinTech.
• Knowledge of asset classes such as Equities, Forex/FX, or Options is a plus.
• Experience with API and integration testing across multiple applications.
• Exposure to GenAI tools or AI-assisted testing is preferred.
• Experience with Jenkins, AWS, Linux/UNIX, PL/SQL, NoSQL, Karate, or Carina is a plus.
