Senior Software Developer – C# / .NET at Runding Corporation

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Software Developer to build, enhance, and support business-critical applications for a major enterprise client.

This is not a “close the ticket and throw it over the wall” development role.

You’ll work in an established application environment where the software matters, the users are real, and reliability counts. You’ll develop new capabilities, improve existing code, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate directly with technical leads, client stakeholders, and other developers. Writing good code is essential – but so are judgment, communication, and ownership.

Experience with Proliance or similar enterprise project management or construction management platforms is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

The Software Developer will:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using C#, .NET, SQL Server, and related technologies.
• Support ongoing feature development, bug fixes, integrations, reporting, and application improvements.
• Work with technical leads and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into functional software solutions.
• Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and implement reliable fixes.
• Review, understand, and improve existing codebases.
• Support integrations between enterprise systems, databases, APIs, and third-party platforms.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code that aligns with established standards.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, testing, and release support.
• Help maintain application stability, security, performance, and data integrity.
• Communicate clearly regarding progress, blockers, risks, and technical recommendations.

Required Qualifications

• Professional experience developing software with C# and the .NET framework / .NET ecosystem.
• Experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures, views, and relational database design concepts.
• Familiarity with at least one widely adopted client-side framework (Node.js, React.js)
• Ability to work with existing codebases and business-critical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience developing or supporting enterprise applications.
• Understanding of software development best practices, including version control, testing, documentation, and maintainable design.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Self-directed, reliable, and comfortable working in a client-facing delivery environment.
• A passion for customer success and for sharing information with junior team members
• A ready willingness to learn new technologies and apply them to customer challenges

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Proliance or similar project management, construction management, capital planning, or enterprise workflow platforms.
• Experience with integrations, APIs, middleware, data imports/exports, or system-to-system data flows.
• Experience supporting applications used in construction, engineering, project controls, facilities, capital projects, or related industries.
• Familiarity with legacy application modernization or enhancement of established enterprise systems.
• Experience with reporting tools, dashboards, or data visualization.
• Experience working in consulting, professional services, or client delivery environments.

Technical Skills

Ideal candidates may have experience with some or all of the following:

• Enterprise application support and troubleshooting
• Data integrations and reporting

Pay: $145,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
