Senior Software Engineer

Who we seek:

We are looking for a brilliant, highly independent, and proactive Senior Software Engineer to join our Data Security group. You are someone who naturally thinks out of the box, possesses strong creative problem-solving skills, and is passionate about building next-generation defense systems. In this role, you will take complete ownership of features end-to-end across the full software development life cycle, helping us combine data-layer and AI-layer security into a single connected line of defense against insider risks and unauthorized access.

What you’ll do:

• Build highly scalable microservices using Java and Node.js, alongside robust REST APIs capable of handling massive volumes of data.
• Develop high-performance streaming, search, and storage pipelines using Kafka, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, and NoSQL databases like MongoDB to monitor and analyze high-volume activity logs.
• Take full technical ownership of the entire software development life cycle (SDLC): from initial architectural design to deployment and monitoring.
• Create advanced security tools designed to give organizations real-time visibility into data usage, uncover shadow AI, and secure modern AI models and agents.

What you’ll bring:

• More than 7 years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on backend systems and scalable cloud architectures.
• Proven mastery of Java and/or Node.js microservices, RESTful API design, and deep hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL data stores, specifically including MongoDB.
• Practical knowledge of event streaming via Kafka, search indexing with Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, and containerized deployment using AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• A strong drive to explore, build, and optimize agentic workflows and leverage advanced AI tools to solve real-world security challenges.
• A highly proactive, independent mindset with a track record of driving features autonomously and bringing out-of-the-box, creative solutions to complex technical hurdles.

Advantages:

• Prior experience working in AI-driven companies or hands-on experience developing with AI tools and ecosystems.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies, specifically React and TypeScript.
• Background working in the Cybersecurity, Data Governance, or Cloud Security domains.
• Practical understanding of zero-downtime deployment strategies and handling large-scale database schema migrations.
