Senior Backend Engineer – AI Protection

Location: Dallas, US (Hybrid 4 days in office)

What You'll Do

• Architect and develop distributed backend systems that power the platform's AI protection capabilities.
• Partner with Product, Frontend, Security, and Infrastructure teams to ship end-to-end features from concept to launch.
• Build enforcement mechanisms for popular AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, and other emerging AI services.
• Create policy management tools that let organisations define and enforce governance rules for AI usage.
• Build the admin console and tools used daily by enterprise IT and security teams.
• Design services that collect, process, and surface AI-related audit data across the platform.
• Work cross-functionally with multiple engineering teams to consolidate AI security signals into a single, unified system.
• Design for scale-focusing on performance, reliability, and security across distributed systems.

What We're Looking For

• Proven ability to design scalable APIs and microservices.
• Deep experience architecting distributed, cloud-native systems.
• A passion for crafting elegant products that solve complex customer challenges.
• Strong communication skills paired with a high sense of ownership and sharp problem-solving instincts.
• Solid grounding in software design principles and system architecture.

• Regularly experiment with AI tools outside of their day-to-day work.
• Have hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, AI APIs, or AI-powered development workflows.
