We at Coforge are hiring Senior Software Engineer (Java) (#21340) with the following skill set. 

Key Responsibilities 

 

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and modern microservices architecture.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services to support enterprise-level applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable software solutions.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance application performance, reliability, and maintainability.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications 

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in backend software engineering or Java development roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience building microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns.
• Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

 

Preferred Skills: 

 

• Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with DevOps and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools.
• Relevant cloud or Java certifications.
