Our client is a global fintech company building the infrastructure for a new era of blockchain-based money movement. Their technology — anchored by a widely used, regulated digital dollar — powers payments, commerce, and financial applications for businesses, institutions, and developers worldwide.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role extends the company's in-house blockchain systems infrastructure to support the tokenization of real-world assets. You'll build and own scalable microservices responsible for reliable, secure APIs that transfer value and assets across blockchain and traditional banking protocols, working closely with Product and Engineering to shape features end-to-end.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Extend in-house blockchain systems infrastructure to support asset tokenization at scale.
• Analyze requirements and problems to improve and modify existing systems.
• Build and own scalable microservices for secure, reliable value-transfer APIs across chains and banking rails.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to design, test, and document system and QA standards.
• Build publicly accessible APIs that make it simple for developers to integrate with complex payment systems.
• Integrate platform services with banking and financial-technology partners.
• Write infrastructure spanning SQL/NoSQL data sources, messaging systems, and APIs.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 6+ years of professional software development experience in object-oriented languages; deep Java expertise preferred, Go used but secondary.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field (or equivalent).
• Experience leading small teams (2–4) technically on architecture and system design.
• Experience with payment systems such as credit cards and bank transfers.
• Broad understanding of RESTful API design, cloud services, and SQL database design.
• Proven experience designing and deploying production-quality, scalable software with strong test coverage.

Ideal background

• Experience building wallet infrastructure, digital asset custody, exchange platforms or blockchain developer tooling.
