About this position:

One of our operating companies, Cloudwize, is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer, Level 3. This role can be based in Newcastle,Tamworth or Sydney.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced systems engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, leading projects, and mentoring others while working with a collaborative and forward-thinking team. Design, deploy, and support enterprise infrastructure, cloud and security solutions for a diverse client base.

Responsibilities:

• Lead solution design, implementation, and support for client infrastructure, cloud and cybersecurity projects
• Manage technical project delivery, including planning, execution, stakeholder communication, and successful outcomes
• Provide Level 3 technical support and resolve complex technical issues.
• Ensure technical documentation, processes, and compliance standards are maintained.
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, services, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional client experiences.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to Cloudwize's technical leadership.

Skills required:

• Minimum 6 years' experience in IT systems engineering, preferably within an MSP or SME environment.
• Advanced expertise across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, networking, firewalls, virtualization, scripting, and IT security.
• Demonstrated experience designing and delivering complex IT infrastructure solutions.
• Strong project delivery skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver on time and within budget.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience mentoring or leading technical team members.
• A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
