Summary of Position:
The ServiceNow Developer III is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable ServiceNow solutions that enable core business processes across the organization. This role partners closely with product managers, architects, and platform stakeholders to deliver high-quality integrations, workflows, and platform enhancements while ensuring alignment with security, performance, and governance standards.
Essential Functions:
Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow applications, workflows, business rules, UI policies, UI actions, Flow Designer flows, and scripted components across core modules (e.g., ITSM, CMDB, Asset Management, Integrations).
Lead API and integration development to support external customer and partner use cases, including designing secure REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven push patterns for downstream systems.
Build and support ServiceNow integrations using bestpractice patterns and platform capabilities (e.g., IntegrationHub/Spokes, MID Server, REST/SOAP, scripted REST APIs) while enforcing authentication, authorization, and data minimization standards.
Partner with security, compliance, and platform governance teams to ensure integrations (especially external-facing endpoints) meet required controls for data protection, auditing, and performance.
