What to Expect

As a member of the Autopilot AI Tooling team, you will design and implement a powerful, diverse set of tools that fuel our machine learning workflows and propel Robotaxi and Optimus forward. You’ll work side-by-side with some of the world’s best AI researchers and machine learning experts, driving Tesla’s mission toward a fully self-driving future.

As an Engineer on the AI Tooling team, you’ll bring elite software engineering skills to make an immediate contribution to our critical tooling systems. Knowledge of machine learning, computer vision, or neural networks is a plus but not required. • Work closely with data analysts to understand UX challenges and suggest improvements
  • Work closely with backend engineers to seamlessly integrate with frontend systems
  • Work closely with AI researchers to build efficient and intuitive UI that accelerate their workflows

What You'll Bring
  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience and evidence of exceptional ability
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript and React
