Are you interested in building the next generation of iOS apps? The Journal team at Apple is looking for talented iOS App developers to join a small team of highly skilled engineers to build world class applications across all of Apple’s platforms. As a member of our team, you'll be responsible for building features for upcoming releases, prototyping new feature concepts, and making sure our users always have a great experience.

This position requires deep knowledge of Swift and UIKit/SwiftUI. You must be comfortable with rapidly evolving designs and requirements, and have excellent interpersonal skills. Throughout the process, you will work collaboratively with our world-class team of engineers, partner with designers, and coordinate with other teams at Apple including the iOS and macOS teams.","responsibilities":"Implementing new features

Prototyping new ideas to help with initial feature definition

Communicating ideas to the Apple design team and other cross functional teams

Participating in architecture and code reviews

Exploring new frameworks and technologies and how they can aid in implementing new features

Building internal tools as needed to help ship high quality software

Passion for quality and attention to detail

Aptitude to independently learn new technologies

Enthusiasm for delivering exceptional product experiences

Minimum Qualifications

2+ years of experience with Swift and/or Objective-C design patterns

2+ years of experience with UIKit and/or SwiftUI

Talent for cleanly architecting UI features

Experience with AI assisted development tools

Excellent oral and written communication skills

BS in Computer Science or equivalent

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $142,300 and $263,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
