We are looking for graduates and early-career software engineers who enjoy solving problems, learning new technologies and working as part of a collaborative engineering team. You will help develop the software platform that underpins IBM FlashSystem, gaining hands-on experience building enterprise software while working alongside experienced mentors and engineers who will support your technical and professional development. Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you will :

• Contribute directly to IBM FlashSystem products that are used by customers worldwide.
• Join a squad of 6-8 engineers developing enterprise storage software used by organisations around the world.
• Investigate problems, debug issues and contribute to technical solutions.
• Learn how to design, develop, test and support high-quality software solutions.
• Collaborate with experienced software engineers, architects and product teams.
• Learn and apply modern software engineering practices, tools and technologies.
• Develop your technical expertise through mentoring, training and hands-on experience.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experiences
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning new technologies.Interest in software engineering demonstrated through university, personal or professional projects.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and development practices.
  
  

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

• Experience with C, Python or other programming languages.
• Exposure to Linux environments.
• Experience using Git or other version control systems.
• Understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile.
• Experience gained through internships, placements, university projects or open-source contributions.
