Solution Architect (Odoo)

Main responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Odoo ERP implementations, including solution architecture, development strategy, and deployment.

• Design scalable, maintainable Odoo solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.

• Serve as the technical authority for Odoo projects, ensuring best practices in development, configuration, and architecture.

• Partner with stakeholders, including senior leadership, to translate business needs into technical solutions.

• Oversee custom module development, code reviews, performance optimization, and technical quality.

• Design and manage integrations between Odoo and third-party systems (APIs, external platforms, data pipelines).

• Define architecture standards, development guidelines, and CI/CD practices.

• Resolve complex technical issues while ensuring system stability, security, and performance.

• Mentor and support developers, QA engineers, and functional consultants through coaching, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

• Support pre-sales activities, solution estimation, and technical proposal development.

Requirements

Required Experience

• 3+ years of Odoo ERP experience, including multiple full-cycle implementations; experience with other ERP systems is a plus.

• 3-5 years of proven experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Lead, or Senior Odoo Developer.

Strong expertise in:

• Odoo modules and customizations (Accounting, Sales, Inventory, Manufacturing, HR, etc.)

• Custom module development

• Odoo framework internals and ORM

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a business-oriented mindset.

Technical Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python and object-oriented programming.

• Deep understanding of the Odoo framework and architecture.

• Experience with PostgreSQL, database design, and query optimization.

• Experience integrating Odoo with external systems and APIs.

• Hands-on experience with Linux, Docker, Git, CI/CD practices, and Odoo.sh.

• Working knowledge of JavaScript, Owl (preferred), HTML, and CSS.

• Experience with performance tuning, debugging, profiling, and ERP security best practices.

Nice-to-Have

• Knowledge of BI tools and data warehousing.

• Odoo certifications.

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Experience in large-scale ERP transformations or multi-country rollouts.
