Sports Data Analyst

We are hiring a Sports Data Analyst on behalf of our partner in Latvia.

Role Overview:

The Sports Data Analyst monitors real-time sports events and results, staying current on sporting activity and industry updates. This role liaises with internal departments, tracks competitor activity to inform real-time adjustments, and remains flexible to support broader team operations. The analyst also escalates and reports any issues affecting daily task performance.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor real-time sports events/results.
• Keep up-to-date with sporting activity by following sports events and new updates.
• Liaise with various internal departments.
• Observe competitor activity and make real-time adjustments where appropriate.
• Remain flexible and support any other tasks needed to maintain a stable and effective team operation.
• Escalate and report problems that prohibit performing daily tasks.

Requirements

• Passion for Sports.
• Knowledge of pre-match and/or live trading will be considered as an advantage.
• Language proficiency in Latvian & English.
• Able to multitask and work under pressure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Strong numerical and mathematical skills.
• Able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Team player as well as a self-starter.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
