Staff Engineer, ERP Workday (Technical Consultant – HCM/Financials)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Total Experience 6+ years
• Strong experience in Workday Integration Development and Support.
• Hands-on experience with Workday HCM / Workday Financials.
• Strong expertise in Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), including User Template Fill-in, Mass Upload, and Outbound Integrations.
• Experience developing and supporting Core Connectors, Benefits Connectors, PECI, Workday Studio Integrations, and Document Transformation.
• Strong knowledge of Workday Financials (Mandatory).
• Experience with Workday Business Process Configuration.
• Hands-on experience in Workday Report Writer and BIRT report development.
• Good understanding of Workday Security Profiles and security framework.
• Experience supporting existing Workday functional and integration solutions.
• Experience uploading and maintaining Workday content such as questionnaires, onboarding content, and related configurations.
• Knowledge of Compensation, Payroll, Core HCM, Recruiting, Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Employee Management System (EMS), and Learning Management System (LMS) is preferred.
• Experience working with ITSM processes and support models.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, implementation partners, and cross-functional IT teams.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced support and enhancement environment.
• Availability to work during US business hour overlap.
• Preferred shift: 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM IST.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop, enhance, and support Workday integrations across HCM and Financial applications.
• Act as the technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Workday Integrations and related technical solutions.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, Benefits Connectors, PECI, Workday Studio, and Document Transformation.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, implementation partners, and internal IT teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable Workday solutions.
• Develop and maintain Workday Reports and BIRT reports to support business reporting needs.
• Configure and maintain Workday Business Processes and related technical components.
• Upload and maintain Workday content, including questionnaires, onboarding content, and other configuration data.
• Support existing Workday functional processes, integrations, and technical enhancements.
• Configure and maintain Workday Security Profiles while ensuring compliance with organizational security standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration, reporting, and production support issues.
• Monitor Workday releases and evaluate new features for technical adoption and continuous improvement.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, integration specifications, support documents, and deployment procedures.
• Participate in system testing, integration validation, defect resolution, and production deployments.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of enhancements and support activities.
• Follow ITSM processes for incident, problem, and change management.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and recommend best practices for Workday integration and technical architecture.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
