Tactical Category Manager Employee Services - Europe West

The Tactical Category Manager role is responsible for the regional strategic sourcing of Employee services.

This role is reporting to the Tactical Purchasing Team Lead for Business Services / IT and while acting as an interface between the global cluster and the operation center it ensures and steers the implementation of the respective integrated category strategy.

The regional approach creates an added value for all Business Areas in terms of commercial, logistical and even technical enhancements, i.e. sustainable total cost reduction, support quality initiatives for internal customers, prolongation of payment terms, warranty and liability optimization, ensuring the worldwide availability of materials and services, data transparency and process improvements as well as strengthening of relationship to strategic Business Partners (internally and externally).

• Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in Purchasing; experience within the relevant categories and Human Resources procurement is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of purchasing processes, negotiation, stakeholder management, and procurement tools (MS Office, SAP R/3, and sourcing platforms).
• Strong analytical, communication, teamwork, and execution skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
• Leadership experience is an advantage.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); German, Portuguese, or French are a plus.
• Ability to work in an international environment and willingness to travel as required.
