Trainee Data Cabling Engineer

Stoneleigh Consultancy is a Networking and Structured Cabling provider.

We offer our customers a full network, wireless, telecoms solution, data cabling, audio visual and CCTV installations.

Our client base includes schools, councils, hospitals, construction, power, and rail, among other sectors.

We seek hard-working, enthusiastic people who want to train in this increasingly essential trade. You will develop important skills, and on completion of the training, you will become one of our essential Data Cabling Engineers.

Some work experience will be required. Trade experience or practical skills would be advantageous. Training will be provided by our experienced team and external training providers.

You will learn to install and test copper and fibre optic cabling solutions, CCTV, AV and wireless.

You will work with an experienced engineer until you build your confidence and skill set; then, you will get your company vehicle and undertake small projects. You will be required to work away from time to time. Weekends and overtime will also be offered.

The successful candidate must have :

· Right to work in the UK

· Hold a full UK driving license,

· Clear an enhanced DBS check, which is a requirement for working around children and vulnerable adults

· Good communication skills

· Flexibility

Salary will be subject to skillset and experience.

We are looking for engineers who can start as soon as possible.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £26,500.00-£28,000.00 per year
