Video Editor & Content Designer

Location: Maidstone (On-site)

Work Type: Full Time, 40 hours a week

Working Hours: Mon- Fri, (8 am to 4:30 pm)

About the Role

We’re looking for a creative and hands-on Video Editor & Content Designer to join our growing team at Xcel Health.

This is not a typical “sit behind a desk and design” role. You’ll be right at the centre of our content, working closely with our teams to create engaging designs, visuals, videos, and social media content that actually connects with people.

If you enjoy bringing ideas to life, telling stories through video and design, and keeping up with trends, this role is for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

Design & Content Creation

• Create high-quality graphics, visuals, and social media content
• Design posts, thumbnails, feature images, and branded assets
• Ensure consistency across all platforms aligned with our brand

Video Recording & Editing

• Record and edit videos for Instagram, LinkedIn, podcasts, YouTube, and social media
• Create short-form content (reels, clips, highlights)
• Optimise content for different platforms

Social Media Content

• Work with the team to create engaging and relevant content
• Stay on top of trends and bring fresh ideas
• Help grow and maintain our presence across platforms

Collaboration

• Work closely with marketing, management, and clinical teams
• Contribute ideas for campaigns, content, and storytelling
• Be part of a team that values creativity and initiative

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in video editing and graphic design
• Strong skills in tools like Adobe (Premiere Pro, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects) or similar
• A good eye for design, detail, and storytelling
• Knowledge of brand guidelines, principles, clean and neat design and editing style
• Understanding of social media trends and content styles
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• A portfolio showcasing your work (this is important)

Bonus (not essential):

• Experience with podcast recording/editing
• Basic understanding of digital marketing or SEO
