Our client is a gaming company established to reform the national gaming system. Operating under the principle of exclusivity, its mission is to provide games responsibly, mitigate gambling-related risks, and ensure player protection while preventing fraud. The company offers a wide range of games divided into three main categories: Lucky Games, Casino Games, and Betting Games.
Position – how you’ll contribute
Looking for a Backlog Manager to help ensure ideas move smoothly from concept to production. This role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and delivery, helping teams stay aligned, focused, and ready to deliver valuable releases.
The Backlog Manager plays a key role in maintaining a well-structured backlog, coordinating work across teams, and ensuring that planned work is clear, technically feasible, and aligned with business goals.
You will work closely with product managers, engineers, architects, QA, and stakeholders to keep delivery predictable and ensure teams are set up for success.
- Manage and maintain backlog readiness in line with delivery timelines and release cycles
- Ensure backlog items are clearly defined, prioritized, and ready for development
- Coordinate planning, refinement, and sequencing of work across teams
- Track progress, identify dependencies, and help remove blockers early
- Support release planning and ensure scope aligns with team capacity
- Provide visibility into delivery progress, risks, and upcoming releases
- Act as a coordination point between product, engineering, QA, and stakeholders
As a Backlog Manager, you help ensure that teams work on the right things at the right time, with the clarity and alignment needed to deliver reliable, high-quality releases.
Your work directly supports efficient delivery, cross-team collaboration, and the successful release of new capabilities to our customers.
Expectations – the experience you need
- Experience working with Agile software development teams
- Strong understanding of the software delivery lifecycle
- Experience managing or coordinating product backlogs and delivery flow
- Ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable backlog items
- Technical awareness of APIs, integrations, and system architecture
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with delivery tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar
Technical collaboration
The position requires strong technical awareness to effectively collaborate with engineering teams.
- Understand end-to-end product and system flows
- Work with teams operating across frontend, backend, and platform layers
- Understand API-based architectures and service integrations
- Read and interpret architecture diagrams and system dependencies
- Understand data flows and basic database structures, with the ability to use SQL when needed
- Identify technical dependencies early and ensure backlog items reflect realistic delivery scope
