The Warehouse Lead is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the warehouse by ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient movement of materials throughout the facility. This hands-on role performs shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, and order fulfillment activities while serving as a resource for warehouse team members. The Warehouse Lead assists with workflow coordination, training, and problem-solving to help achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity objectives.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise


What you need:
  • Ability to safely operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
  • Ability to verify materials against bills of material, pick lists, work orders, and shipping documentation.
  • Working knowledge of warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material movement.
  • Ability to safely use overhead cranes, lift-assist devices, and other material handling equipment.
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience using power hand tools.
  • Ability to prioritize work and support daily workflow activities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to train and assist team members with warehouse processes and safety procedures.
  • Ability to identify and resolve routine operational issues.
  • Proficiency with SAP or other warehouse management systems preferred.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment through 5S and continuous improvement practices.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain all vendor platforms (E.I, Avetta and ISN).
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or logistics experience required.
  • Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment required.
  • Experience with ERP or similar inventory management systems preferred.
  • Previous experience providing training, guidance, or support to team members preferred.
  • Experience working with inventory transactions, shipping documentation, and material handling processes preferred.
