About the Role

We're an SEO company looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Web Developer to support our client work. You'll handle the technical side of getting client websites up, running, and performing well, from initial WordPress setup through performance optimization. This role is ideal for a developer who enjoys practical, hands-on website work and takes pride in fast, functional, well-built sites.

You'll work closely with our SEO team, so an understanding of how technical decisions affect search performance (site speed, mobile rendering, clean markup) is a strong plus.

What You'll Do

Core tasks (day-to-day):

• Install and configure WordPress sites, themes, and plugins
• Set up and test contact forms, ensuring submissions route correctly
• Create and configure email accounts and forwarding for clients
• Perform routine site maintenance, updates, and backups

What We're Looking For

• Solid working knowledge of WordPress, including theme and plugin configuration
• Proficiency with HTML and CSS; working knowledge of JavaScript and PHP
• Experience with responsive design and cross-browser/device testing
• Familiarity with website performance tools (Google PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, Lighthouse)
• Experience setting up payment gateways and e-commerce plugins
• Comfort with hosting environments, cPanel, DNS records, and email configuration
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client sites at once
• Clear communicator who can explain technical issues to non-technical teammates

Pay: $74,760.60 - $90,034.27 per year
