Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Window Surveyor to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of window installations, ensuring quality standards are met, and providing accurate measurements for project planning. Your expertise will help streamline the installation process, improve project efficiency, and uphold safety and quality protocols across various construction sites. Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed surveys of existing window installations, including measurements, condition assessments, and site evaluations.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and construction teams to gather necessary schematics and technical specifications.
  • Identify potential issues related to roofing, masonry, carpentry, or electrical systems that may impact window installation or integrity.
  • Use hand tools and power tools to assist with on-site measurements, adjustments, or minor fabrication tasks as needed.
  • Document survey findings accurately through reports and photographs, ensuring clear communication of project requirements.
  • Assist in planning for fabrication or replacement by providing precise data on window dimensions and site conditions.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and construction regulations throughout the survey process.

Experience

  • Proven experience in construction surveying or related roles within building projects.
  • Familiarity with technical schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings.
  • Hands-on experience with roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical systems, plastering, fabrication, carpentry, masonry, and painting is highly advantageous.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for measurement and minor adjustments.
  • Knowledge of construction safety protocols and quality assurance procedures.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents and communicate findings effectively to diverse teams.
