Working Student | Customer Success Engineering (m/f/d)

About the role

The energy transition runs on batteries. As renewable energy reshapes the global power system, batteries are taking centre stage. Making them reliable, safe & scalable are the defining challenges of the energy transition. At TWAICE, we build software that turns battery data into insights, so that we can help the world reach net zero faster.

As a Working Student in our Customer Success Engineering Team, you'll work at the intersection of data and customer impact, helping evaluate and improve the performance and safety of battery energy storage systems across the globe, while getting hands-on with real operational data and the technology behind our platform.

Working hours and days are flexible (particularly around exams). You should be available at least 20 hours per week regularly and be able to come into our central Munich HQ once per week (you're welcome every day if you wish).

Your daily business will involve

• Conduct big-data analyses to evaluate performance and safety of battery energy storage systems across the globe
• Interpret power and data flows for battery energy storage systems
• Establish digital twins for BESS in TWAICE’s data model
• Connect data from operational assets to TWAICE’s cloud
• Contribute to algorithm and data pipeline development efforts at TWAICE

Your profile

• Currently enrolled in a master's program e.g.Data Science/Renewable Energy/Electrical Engineering
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis (data manipulation, transformation, processing)
• Familiarity with Databricks, SQL, and/or AWS is a plus
• Interest in renewables is required; knowledge of the renewables, BESS, or battery industries is a plus
• Prior customer-facing experience preferred
• A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving
• Curiosity and eagerness to pick up new tools and topics
