Working Student – Surgical Video Analysis

What you'll do

As Working Student – Surgical Video Analysis at Snke you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge AI solutions for surgical video analysis. Working closely with our Machine Learning team in Munich, you will help create and curate high-quality, diverse datasets that form the foundation for innovative AI applications improving surgical workflows and processes.

• Prepare high‑quality data for a wide range of AI development workflows
• Come up with innovative ways to annotate surgical videos using existing and open-source foundation models
• Support the design and validation of AI models and contribute to clear, structured documentation
• Assist the ML engineers in their daily operational tasks
• Accompany the full development cycle, from initial concept to final testing
• Utilize annotation and validation tools to ensure data and model quality

What we're looking for

• Background in Computer vision, Informatics, (Bio)medical imaging or a similar field
• Strong interest in medical imaging AI and a passion for driving innovation in the field
• Analytical mindset paired with strong teamwork and communication skills
• Python knowledge and the will to increase your proficiency
• Structured and independent working style with a high level of reliability
• Good command of English in a professional environment
