About the role

What you will do
We are seeking a dynamic and diligent individual who can combine technical flair with excellent customer service skills to work as Field Service Technician. As a Field Service Technician, you will install and configure our vehicle and people access solutions and:

  • Connect, commission and maintain SKIDATA equipment, IT hardware/software, Network devices, EV charging and other access control devices.
  • Ensuring that our access solutions operate as specified while also providing reliable maintenance, repairs and class-leading customer service.
  • Escalate technical issues to Technical Services Team and work together to achieve resolution.
  • Complete customer hardware and software training remotely via Cornerstone software.

    What we are looking for

    • Proven experience installing, maintaining and troubleshooting IT hardware and software and basic electrical knowledge.
    • Experience with operation and maintenance of access devices including – installation and flashing Firmware (Linux) and software configuration.
    • Basic Network technology – including TCP/IP protocols and the ability to analyse and solve technical network problems.
    • Be able to work in carpark, stadia and construction environments and holds a valid UK drivers licence.
    • You will work in a specified geographic area but may need to travel nationally and stay overnight when required.
