About the role

Role Purpose
This is a senior management position and is responsible for all aspects of HR function of the company and subsidiaries/units. The position is responsible for all HR matters.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities
• Collaborate with senior leadership to understand organization goals, staffing needs, including recruitment retention, training, and talent development.
• Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organizations human resource compliance and strategy needs.
• Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance, talent management and development productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety.
• Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring.
• Monitors and ensures the organizations compliance with applicable Labour law regulations.
• Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources.
• Develops manages and maintains department budget.
• Facilitates professional development, training, and certification activities for HR staff.
• Ensure all meetings are held per company calendar.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, half year and annual reports to the deputy CEO in a timely manner in accordance with company calendar.

Education:
• Degree in Human Resource or equivalent in Business Administration, Management Studies, or equivalent relevant field
• Second degree in Business Management, Human Resource Management, or a closely related field preferred
• Membership in a relevant professional body (IHRMP, PHR, SHRM, SPHR, CIPD) is preferred
• A minimum of 8 years in an HR managerial role within a corporate setting

• Thorough knowledge of labour law and regulations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Committed to working non-traditional hours, nights, and weekends.
• Willingness to travel short notice.

• Enthusiastic and action oriented
