As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated IT Support Engineer & Systems Specialist to join our support team. This role is essential in ensuring that our clients experience seamless functionality with our software products.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for users seeking technical assistance, providing support with a calm and customer-focused demeanor.
- Perform remote and on-site troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and tools.
- Guide users through step-by-step problem-solving processes and identify the best solutions.
- Escalate complex, unresolved issues to the appropriate higher-level support or external vendors when necessary.
- Assist in the maintenance and administration of core infrastructure technologies.
- Develop and maintain scripts or automations on IT-related platforms to streamline daily operations.
- Proactively identify bottlenecks and suggest practical improvements to support procedures and internal processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 2 years of proven experience in a Helpdesk, Technical Support, or Junior SysAdmin role.
- Basic scripting/automation knowledge (e.g., PowerShell, Python, or Bash) is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience or familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration.
- Knowledge of Virtualization (VMware) and Backup solutions (Veeam).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Professional proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused with a calm and patient demeanor
